Sometimes you get what you don't deserve. Life is brilliant that way.

The awe-inspiring Anindita Sengupta has awarded me the Brilliant Weblog award. This surprises me. And also makes me breathe a big sigh of relief. Because when I knew her in college and she was all like gorgeous and brilliant and talented and one year older, we were cast in a play in which I was supposed to slap her. And boy am I glad she dropped out of that play now!

Ghosh, as I still call her, has won awards, fought a battle against sexual harassment that empowers not just her but women everywhere and maintained her waistline. And today, after receiving this honour, I officially, with no conditions or questions asked, in reverent thanks, offer her...my body.
